How to put the procrastination demon out of its misery

Marketing and sales are the lowest paying easy work and highest paying hard work you can do.

It’s just as true about on any of the 7 fundamental areas of our businesses.

Personal confession… Whenever I’m about to execute a “highly important” campaign writing, I find myself fighting procrastination. I keep having all these impulses that are sub-zero on the scale of relevance, importance, and urgency.

When executing Marie Kondo-ing a chest of drawers attempts to preempt writing a marketing copy, it means there’s a demon in my head that knows how important the copywriting is!

So I mightily fight the Marie Kondo-ing urge and go on writing my copy.

At some point we all have to face that procrastination demon and conquer it.

It’s actually simple: you do the Mel Robbins 5 sec launch (do a countdown 5-4-3-2-1) and do it.

The problem isn’t that marketing, sales, and other foundational business areas are hard. The problem is that they require your attention and focus. And because they are important, the procrastination demon wakes up. You can put that demon out of its misery and become better getting the highly important things done.
